Who is "you people?" People come on this board and look for immedaete answers when they can simply use the search button. Don't be lazy, do the research instead of depending on others to answer it for you.

I dont know about official, but it was my understanding that Geoffrey is taking a bit of a breather and doing some work on his new project. He tells me that things are going very well so Im quite sure he will let everyone know when its up and running.

    Default update on Dr. Nase

Dr. Nase sent me this email:

    Hi Brady,

Thank you for your kind words. If you want to update the groups on my activities that is fine. I am currently focusing my efforts on 5 things:

    1. Setting up the Rosacea Research and Treatment Forum

    2. Getting ready to attend the American Academy of Dermatology National Meeting (March 3 - 7) in San Francisco, Moscone Center. I will be attending rosacea lectures, meetings, poster exhibits and interviewing many of these physicians. I will then post the information to my web site. I am already completely scheduled for nights (dinner and activities with physicians), but may be able to meet rosacea sufferers in the area for a lucheon. Please notify me.

    3. Setting up two clinical studies on oral and topical rambazole on rosacea -- will be co-investigator in both studies. Also in beginning stages of setting up Neocutis clinical studies with Dr. Frank Dreher.

    4. Investigating very novel treatments for rosacea lymphedema (swelling) with several Medical Lymphedema centers.

    5. Focusing quite a bit on my ever growing Rosacea Consulting Specialists endeavor. This has been very rewarding and succesful.

I live in the Pittsburgh area and will be visiting Dr. Bikowski to talk with him about Neocutis. I will ask him about Dr. Nase's work with Dr. Dreher while I am there. I am looking forward to this appointment, and will post if Dr. Bikowski has any new photos, and anything new that he might have to share with me about this cream and Rosacea.

    Wish me luck.

PS Newbie - didn't know how to include a quote - sorry for the edit!

People should be able to ask what happened with someone who understands rosacea and who can provide assistance to people going through hard times at the moment. Its too bad that some people made it so difficult for Dr Nase to continue to help people within the groups. Way to think it through, yeah let's get rid of someone who can interpret and identify possible treatments that may help rosacea sufferers. No, no, that makes sense!!

While you may think that this post is useless and has not provided any value, I say this, patience....Yes, patience. From my personal experience with rosacea I can say that having patience has helped me the most. I have managed to keep my rosacea in check(for the most part) by being patient and seeing treatments through. While I will say that if something is making problems worse, discontinue. But if its not making it worse, give it some more time and see if it actually works. Don't just give up after a week or two, this condition just isn't that easy to control.

I am currently taking 20 MGs of Doxy twice a day and I am testing out the neocutis cream, but unlike most people(from what I read on this board) I will actually continue to use this cream long enough to see if it actually works...

Posts aren't useless, we just like to see some strong anecdotal evidence or studies that support a given post's assertion.
