Default Chili Peppers For Nerve Pain

Hi folks. I hope this link works. It's an article about a chile pepper like chemical that is very effective at treating nerve pain disorders, specifically ones that are generated by heat. Interesting reading..........

    I've wondered about this, too.

The address needed an "h" in front of the ttp. Here's the corrected link:

    Tricia,

Good pick. The extract Capsicum is used for foot diabetic burning. It works well in some. However, rosacea sufferers can never use this. Please do not even attempt because there is a good chance that one or two applications may throw you right into severe rosacea.

The Capsicum works by binding to sensory burning nerves and opening the nerve endings up to release all the chemicals -- strong dilators and burning factors. You do this for two weeks and then it keeps these nerves empty and stops other chemicals from being produced.

Two weeks of pain to get to a good point and then must maintain with several applications. I dont know any rosacea sufferer that could withstand the initial severe flushing and burning. Please be careful.

Lots of talk about this two years ago at a little rosacea roundtable conference and they came to the same conclusion.
