Default Why lock my thread when it contravened no rules whatsoever?

This is becoming a little silly guys; free speech is no longer allowed even when it's done in a totally impartial way...

    Default locking the forums

Locking a forum topic is one way to let the heat die down before the flames get out of control. We have done this in the past and let everyone just calm down and think about what they are posting before typing a post that only flames the discussion or becomes uncalled for or rude. We unlock the forum after a while to see if some still wish to comment on the subject. Locking a topic works.

When you enter into this forum you agree to the policy. Any perceived rights you have are governed by the policy and basically you are a member as long as you agree to the policy. Have you read the policy? It is helpful to understand what the forum policy is and why we have a moderated forum. The moderators are not above the policy and can be called to account for violating the policy. The steps are clearly written out what you can do as a member if you think a moderator or moderators are out of line.

Never said you violated the policy. Basically I locked all the threads about this subject to let everyone cool down and think about it. All the threads are now unlocked.
