Hi guys,

I did a search on "Clarithromycin and dermatology" and "Aziethromycin and dermatology" and clearly aziethromycin seems to be referred to more often than clarithromycin in the dermatology literature. It seems like aziethormycin obtains higher levels in the skin and is gentler to the stomach than clarithromycin, so perhaps its the wrong pills Im taking. They work great for infection in the bowel but dont work that well in the skin. To be honest, Im quite disappointed with clarithromycin cause I dont see much effect on my rosacea - not something justifying taking such a med. My seb derm seems to have gotten worse on my nose - not in the eyes though. I dont know, is clarithromycin just another weak drug against rosacea?
