    Default cetaphil

Does anyone know if Cetaphil is an alright cleanser? I read the ingredients and some of the ingredients are listed in Dr. Nase's book to avoid. I e-mailed the company that makes Cetaphil and was told that the ingredients I was inquiring about are low in concentration.
Just wondering if anyone has any feedback?

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben.

The alcohol could be a problem. It is generally not recommended for sensitive skin. I remember buying a big bottle of this when I was in my teens (many years ago!) and it immediately caused such a burning sensation that I had to rinse it off and throw the product away. I use a non-perfumed olive oil soap now, but can only use water on my eyelids.

I used this when I first was diagnosed and did not like it very well. I now use phisoderm.

The alcohol is listed right after the water, which means there is more of that in the product than anything besides water.

I don't like the Cetaphil liquid cleanser, but the Cetaphil bar soap for dry, sensitive skin seems to be gentle enough for me.
