Default Additional Reading for Lasers and IPL

Place place reviews for particular treatment types to Rosacea.co.uk.

Please post doctor recommendations to the appropriate forum in the regions category (otherwise a moderator will move it there).

Please also see the relevant sections in the wikibook http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/rosacea about IPL and Lasers

    Default lasers/IPL resource

There are 2 seminars regarding the treatment of rosacea with IPL/Yag, one of which are by Dr. Soldo. I havent watched it yet but hope it works fine.

Also, another link where laser/IPL owners discuss about the effectiveness of different lasers:

    I found it pretty informative.

I have just listened (and watched) his presentation. Its a great resource. I think it is time to start a resource sticky for lasers/IPL with this and some of the other things recently posted.

    I agree.
Great thread Francois. Thanks for all these informative videos about laser/IPL treatment.
Let's start with this thread as the sticky for all the Laser/IPL treatment.

Interesting that Dr. Soldo believes gentle treatment is more effective and he does not believe in preflushing. He states that every flush is angiogenic and that he always gets better results with more gentle IPL treatments and every time he did a more aggressive treatment the patient had more of a setback. So many different opinions amongst laser specialists.

What I think would be that in the end if we could rename this thread so that it becomes a resource thread with any useful bits and pieces that we come across.

I remember that Francois also posted a good video about covering up purpura??

    Sciton BBL

The forum where people who use lasers/light devices discuss effectiveness of the devices. It's interesting how most of them rave about Sciton BBL.
