    Default Excellent derms

Is it possable to have a list of recomended derms. I really want to find one, who I can say to 'this is me', can we get a treatment regime going and he actually knows what hes talking about

    Hi
Great idea, but I would say the problem is not many people can recommend a good derm. They are few and far between. Now if you want a derm. that doesn't know much about rosacea and will hand you a prescription for topical steroids and metro-lotion, then I can provide you with a whole bunch of recommendations.

Hello. My current opinion: you're better off on your own. After seeing 4 docs and getting nowhere, I found the best derm possible( so far): he gives me prescriptions for anything I ask for.
Funny thing....all of them had one thing in common. They all said:"Get used to it, you'll have it for the rest of your life". Hmmm....

    Best regards,

    Adrian.

Last week I went to a GP thinking I had pink eye, she said no, so I said maybe my ocular rosacea is really getting worse? she said, 'rosacea, that's only on the skin' - I didn't even waste the time or breath....

I think we should also post about not open-minded dermatologists. We could possibly create a two lists(one negative and one positive) of derms across the US and other places that we have seen and the reason's why we recommend or don't recommend them. Maybe that way they would take us seriously.
