Default damage from ipl 10 years +

I'm just wondering if it's possible for damage to appear years after ipl?

I know sun damage can take years to manifest itself.

IPL may have damaged the skin barrier so that other irritants like sun damage could harm it more over time.

Dermalogica barrier repair is very helpful to protect the skin (including when it's been laser or IPL damaged). It's almost like a second skin.
