    Default fexofenadine

Been to the docs today and been prescribed fexofenadine 180mg.I have sensitive skin that marks easily and the doc thinks it might be histamine related.
Also, she's making an appointment for me to see a dermatolgist, yippee!

I'm interested to see how useful you find it - do let us know. Do you have mainly flushing/redness or pustules/spots?

Interesting! I have a prescription for this myself, but I always just use cetirizine.

My main problem is from flushing and redness. The doc prescribed this as I showed her how easily my skin marks from light scratching and rubbing.

What you have is called dermatographic skin. My food allergic twins both have it and a Zyrtec helps them with that. I wish that was my problem.

Unfortunately saw no difference in facial flushing or skin scratch reaction.

Itís helped me for years. Get weird rashes especially in the sun.
As I was a professional Dog walker kept me going for years.
If I get a strange rash I always pop one of these.
If rosacea is bad I take one.
Stopped taking them regular as Iíve come off all meds and Iím trying to sort my guts out
    and Iím having acupuncture.
Only thing Iím using is soolantra now

I do not understand if it worked for you why did you stop taking fexofenadine? What kind of symptoms did you have? did it help for the flushes? meal flushs or other?

I have weird skin rashes and take one of theses and it goes away. I’ve stopped taking them as them as I have Gastritis and my mouth is so sore I am trying to find out what is causing the sore mouth .
So come off all meds. I have SD and Rosacea. Need to go back to docs to figure out this sore mouth as she’s given me some anti fungal mouth treatment but I’m waiting for bloods to come back first to check it’s not vitamin deficiency.
So going to Docs tomorrow hopefully. Need to ask if sore mouth is allergy or stomach related. Just need to check if it’s ok to take them again with stomach issues.
