Default Has anyone used RLT successfully for Seb Derm ?

Hi, I notice several people on this forum have seb derm and they have said that it clears up in summer when they are exposed to the sunlight and it gets really bad in winter, so it seems like light is a factor in seb derm and I was just wondering has anyone successfully treated it with RLT ?

Obviously the sun has different spectrum's of light so I don't know which one is effective for seb derm or if its related to the vitamin d production or some other factor but I thought I'd post this thread to see if anyone has had success with RLT.

    Default LED light treatment

    https://www.koreamed.org/SearchBasic...4.19.2.31&DT=1

The wavelength to kill malassezia yeast is blue 395nm unfortunately that’s UV so if you also have rosacea or are concerned about skin cancer or increased demodex I wouldn’t do use UV. The study combined 395nm blue UV with 660nm red LED to reduce the inflammation. The Red light is anti inflammatory. So you could still benifit with yellow/red 580nm to 680nm LED because it will bring down the inflammation.

I have had twice weekly GentleWaves LED (588nm Yellow). It does help to reduce inflammation.

    Another study:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/25226792/

A photosensitizer is combined with Red 670nm cold laser. This is amble to kill malassezia yeast in a Petri dish.
