    Default UK Laser specialists

I am in England have been viewing the forums for some time now and thank everyone for the really helpful information.

Back in March I had a Rosacea flareup across the nose which included some p&ps and have managed to get it under control using Soolantra and Lymecycline. I am however left with some redness and capillaries. After some research I was thinking of going to see either Dr Nisith Sheth or Dr Firas Al-Niaimi (both in London) with a view to having some laser treatment to remove the marks. I was wondering if any one had used either of these people and if so what their experiences were

    Thanks John

    Hi John,

I have been going to Dr Sheth for vbeam for the last 6 years. I highly recommend him - very knowledgeable, very compassionate and great with lasers. I am actually going to see him again at the end of the month. He operates out of the Lister Hospital in Chelsea and Guys hospital in Southwark. Go to Guys, itís much cheaper!

I couldnít speak more highly of him! Good luck.

I have been going to see him for so many years now, and yes, I ask for bruising. The settings for bruising have changed over time, but last laser I got was 3mm with 11 joules I think. Resulted in this much bruising.

Just searching the forum and looking for a London based laser specialist. I used to use Dr Crouch in Swindon before he sadly passed away. This horrible thing has recently flared up again quite badly and sent me into a spiral of self-loathing.

I see that you have mentioned Dr Nisith Sheth in London. Did you see him at Guys as a private patient or do you have to get an NHS referal to see him? Also, roughly how much does he charge? I really want somebody who is London based to help cut down on costs (not exactly flushed for cash right now).

    Regards

I see him at Guys Hospital, but have been told he is not working there until next year. He has referred me to Dr Craythorne, who is operating out of Guys as well. I am toying with the idea of going to see him in the next month or so. I went private, which requires a bit of saving on my part. The fee is £350. Hope that helps.

    Hey Seb,

I know you've had a TON of vbeams. When you first started, about how many treatments would you say it took to notice a dramatic difference in your condition?
