    Any thoughts?
Topical steroids improves rosacea in a short term treatment, say five days. However, long term steroid treatment exacerbates rosacea with the possibility of developing FCAD. As for long term antibiotic treatment for rosacea, many have done this for years, using antibiotics whether low or high dose for rosacea, and the side effects being heavily weighted toward the negative when it comes to the benefit/risk ratio when accepting such treatment. You may want to read this article about the Gut-Skin-Brain Axis. Probiotics are now an accepted treatment for rosacea and many have reported good results. There are now many over the counter oral and topical probiotics. One article worth reading about is the probiotic treatment, Nonpathogenic E. coli strain Nissle 1917.

I don't use corticosteroids it's one time since perhaps very long time
On add its a very moderate desonide very low range and put only on my temples.
I am taking probiotics since long time now
I don't know if it's seb derm or acne rosacea on my temple but the last derm I saw told me seb derm
It's very strange you see very close like a little dot red and from far it seems a pink patches areas.
No relief no seems to be spots
The little dot looks like the color of blood
Now with locapred it's not so red than start but it's very long to fade away
I take 1 or 2 showers per day with cold or warm water use very safe shampoo without surfactants
    Demodex?
But metronidazole or soolantra did nothing during 2 days
    Curious

Soolantra needs something like 12 weeks

2 days is not long enough to know if these treatments work for you.

Metronidazole, an antibiotic, has been used for rosacea for a long time, and if you read the reports here at RF, very few, if any, ever report any success in two days. Some say it works after a month or so, while others report it doesn't help. Use the search box top right corner and insert 'metronidazole' and browse through the results.

If you read the Soolantra thread, many report it works for them, usually after 60 to 90 days. Some have said it takes 120 days or longer. Same is true if you use the ZZ cream. No one has reported improvement in short term treatment of a few days.

And more rosaceans than not report that changing diet improves rosacea, which takes several weeks to see the improvement. Avoiding sugar and carbohydrate is one route that many here in RF report works for them.

Yes but when I got a redness like papules on my forehead I use to put metronidazole cream and 15 minutes later moisturizer only on the papule area and the next day there is nothing the redness is disappear
So metronidazole works very quickly on my papules.
But any papules or redness it doesn't work, very curious
    Any thoughts about it?
    Thks

I also had papules where metronidazole didn't work. I treated them successfully with tea tree oil 50% twice a day.

50% tea tree oil but you have to diluate with moisturizer cause water is not soluble in water
What are the % tea tree oil good for acne rosacea Papules redness?

It’s better to dilute it with a carrier oil than a moisturizer, because only then you can achieve the 50% concentration. You can use sweet almond oil, argan oil, rosehip oil, MCT oil, sea buckthorn oil, etc.

I find almond oil the best carrier oil. It's important to find the right carrier oil for you, otherwise you may get irritation from the carrier oil, as rosacea skin can be so sensitive.
