    Default Keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii

I am 16 and have severe KPRF (red cheeks). How can I make this condition go away? Also, I have heard this condition fades over time, is that true? Or has anyone here had theirs fade away?

If you use the search box top right, you can search through many posts that discuss KPRF. Take an hour or so and browse through the results. Search 'Keratosis' or 'KPRF'

Yes I have found it got better with age. The best way to approach the issue is to break it into two groups, flushing and surface redness. Find a good anti redness moisturizer is the first step.

Can I ask, do you do bodybuilding? Are you on a bulking diet?

I suspect this aggravated my own KPRF. Been much better since I stopped.

Have you gone to a dermatologist? If so, what treatment was suggested?

You can read this post and read what treatments are offered.

I read on this forum that some KPRF sufferers got better with the help of antifungal creams, even foot creams. Maybe itís worth trying.
