Iím back to hospital this week. So only have a limited time to ask questions. Donít mean to annoy Iím
Going to ask Doctors Wednesday to ask about this treatment but I suspect they will have never heard of it .

Even though my focus is completely on LDN now I might keep taking CBD for the anti inflammatory aspects? low dose of course. I bought it anyway and it was quite expensive :S
Iím so pleased your LDN arrived so quickly.

What a question! Well... I would say the sensible thing to do would be to stop the CBD and only take LDN so that you know exactly how it affects you...

.... but I would probably take them both!

In my experience the effect of CBD was tangible, but minimal,. But, I I were taking them both at the same time, I would probably want to find out if they should be taken at different times of the day... Iím no expert, but my understanding is that one of the things CBD does is slightly increase levels of seratonin etc.. and LDN works by temporarily (for a few hours during sleep) blocking the opioid receptors (in order to get the body to increase seratonin etc when the LDN wears off) so it seems to me that taking CBD and LDN before bedtime might be wasting your CBD and/or possibly fighting the LDN a little??

I donít know if Iím right or not tho.

But most of all Iím so happy to hear youíve found a little relief and that you have your LDN. I really hope you get relief soon. Do let us know.

It’s ok...I understand the problems you face.. trouble is, many of us face similar issues, I can only wear reading glasses for a few minutes a day for instance, so if I use up too much of my valuable reading/writing time typing here I can’t do the small % of my job I’m managing to hold on to. That’s why I only appear on this form sporadically, when I’m not here for a while it’s becuase I’m using my available glasses-wearing time to get some work done...

Having said that, it’s because I am able to wear glasses for longer stretches these days that I’m posting here at all.

We’re all in the same boat and doing the best we can to support each other..

You’re probably right. I didn’t even bother asking my GP as we were both sick of the sight of each other by that point. I went straight to Dicksons Chemist and they guided me through the whole process..

    Take care

I will ask my doc who prescribed me LDN, he seems a bit bewildered but maybe he has an input on that.

If so I would take CBD morning and lunch and LDN at night...

Just a thought, have you had a full thyroid function test done?

Sry can I ask you, did you ever read or get from a doctor that you shouldn't take LDN with a specific drug or supplement? Not to reduce LDN's effect
