    Default Reaction when brushing teeth

Anyone else experienced this? I have subtype 1 rosacea on nose, and occular symtoms as well, and I have started to notice tingling in nose and redness when I brush my teeth.

I get the same tingling and redness when I react to food, which is basically almost all my meals.

Do you mean the redness from stretching your mouth?

I get more red when brushing my teeth as well. I think it has something to do with nerve activity in the face and/or weak blood vessels.

No, I mean literally a reaction to either the brushing or the toothpaste. This is so weird

    Default Histamine

Maybe do a test with antihistamine and check again while brushing. Might be some sort of allergy.

Probably something wrong with me and connected to the fact that I cannot eat anything without redness...

    Default Brushing

Wow- I googled does brushing teeth make rosacea worse and was surprised it let me to such a recent post here. For me I noticed the pain/pressure on my left side gets worse in the AM and PM. I assumed it was from removing my makeup, but I still feel it even when I donít wear makeup so it occurred to me that maybe it is from jabbing the inside of my mouth with my toothbrush. I guess one way to test it is to skip brushing my teeth for one night......

    Default Toothpaste

my chin has permanent bumps on it that Iíve had for about 30 years. I assumed it was worse than the rest of my face because of toothpaste and food running down on it. You said you nose tingles-my nose itches with certain food smellsóor say if a food hits it -like eating an apple

Hello! I think I react to the toothpaste and not the actual jabbing. But not sure
