I was the same on birth control, itís the hormone changes, very common it takes a wee while but it will stop. Eat well, donít stress and enjoy your baby...it will be fine.

My hairdresser recommended me masks and shampoos for special treatment.

Hair masks and special shampoos didn't help me at all. My hair is falling out just as before, but my doctor said that it's temporary

It is also very important to eat well and rest more so that your body can recover after the baby birth.

    Default postpartum hair loss

I suffered from massive hair loss after each of my four pregnancies. I now believe it was a result of low stomach acid that was preventing me from absorbing my nutrients, thus resulting in my hair loss and terrible skin. Please look into it, apparently low stomach acid is very common and quite easy to remedy with inexpensive capsules of Betaine HCL.

My hair also fell off a few months post partum, gradually at first, then frighteningly rapid. My OB/GYN told me to take biotin. So I've been taking extra strength biotin since then and although I have not regained a full head of hair (well, my hair has always been thin, to begin with), at least my hair loss now is not as severe.
