Just started using a LED mask - good initial results

Hi, is it possible to find hand held green light or is it only red light that's available? I have a mask which I like but would like to go up in strength I think. My skin likes the green light so i would like to buy one of each if that's an option!

Oh and may i ask how long you use the hand held red light, is it a few minutes on each side of the face? Thank you!

This stuff is very powerful, so usually 45 seconds is well enough for me But this is rather individual and varies from one person to another.

Super thank you for answering! Yes I guess it's very individual. But it sounds great though to just have to use it for a few minutes, rather than the mask which takes like 20 minutes. I'm going to look into buying a hand held one, the red light man was decently priced so i might go for that one!

I have a 36 watt 660nm grow light, which is really very powerful. I'm trying to figure out how I should be using this because I've actually burned my face with this in the past.

If you can tell me what you're doing with your light, and for how long, I can start to get an idea of what is safe with my own light.

You burned your face with RLT? How come? This stuff does not emit any warmth....

Anyhow, the lamp I am using right now (optimal for my needs) is Red Mini from Red Light Man.
Here is the power density:
200 mW/cm2 at 0 cm
100 mw/cm2 at 10 cm
50 mW/cm2 at 25 cm
25 mW/cm2 at 50 cm
10 mW/cm2 at 80 cm

The spectrum used is 670 nm.

I use it twice a day, for 70 seconds only per face area (cheeks, nose, chin), but from a close distance (roughly 20 cm).
This works best for me.

My growlight is powerful and gets very hot. When I say "burned my face" I mean my face became hot, red, sore and tight. It looked like I'd just had IPL.

Also, you're describing milliwatts, not watts.

My 36 watt bulb is apparently equivalent to 36000 mW.

I should probably be using my 36,000 mW bulb at over 100cm from my face for no more than 10 seconds, if that. It seems I'd be seriously overdoing it and probably DID overdo it the last time I burned my face.
