    Default Intake of Natural Sugars during Rosacea Diet (Brady Barrow)

    Hi there

    I have had much success with Brady's Rosacea Diet (bought his book) and have been following it for a couple of years now. I have eliminated all un-natural sugars, however I am curious as to how much natural sugar for people who follow this diet have per day? (example: natural sugars in peanuts). For myself, I probably eat 2-10 grams per day of sugar (low-sugar fruit, nuts, vegetables) along with perhaps 80 grams of carbohydrates. Any responses would be appreciated.

    I can eat 150 grams to 300 grams of natural sugar in nuts, fruits, etc. a day. If I get a flareup of rosacea I will drop back down to less than 100 grams/day.

    I do admit that sometimes I go over 300 grams of sugar in a day and I pay for it later with a rosacea flareup. Then I go back to my Spartan less than 100 grams a day again.

    Thanks for the feedback Brady. I am a bit confused though, isn't 150 to 300 grams of sugar a lot? Perhaps I am confused about the difference between carbohydrates and sugar. Of the 100 grams of carbohydrates I eat, I consume maybe 5-20 grams of natural sugar. For example a serving of peanuts contains 6 grams of total carbohydrates with 1 gram of sugar. So, in order to eat 150 grams of natural sugars through peanuts, wouldn't you be consuming 900 carbohydrates (6 x 150)?
