    Hi poppe

    Allergan is 1.00% , You have ordered 0.05% , Fiugs ordered 0.10%

    Oh.
I thought.... Allergan that is 1%.

Ben make my cream 0.5%, not 0.05% oxy on 30g tube.

    Hi poppe

Ok , Jon from Ireland ordered the 0.05% . I said to him it would be too weak . looks like the 0.10 % is too weak also going off what fiugs said

    Hi

You done well , you would at least 0.50% to get any effect because Allergan is using 1.00%

so I applied a little of my 0.1% Oxymetazoline on a newly-washed test area this morning. If there was any effect at all it was sooo slight that I am unable to detect it. I will try again tomorrow, but I am already feeling that ) 0.1% is too weak a solution... for me anyway.

Poppe, yours will be 5 times stronger than mine. I think that might be better.

I wonder why the compounders recommended different strengths to us - or did you request .5?

On the plus side, if someone has the time, money and patience to start with a weak compound and slowly build up to what was perfect for them, I see that as a great advantage over the standard '1% size fits all' of Rhofade... It would be a costly and time-consuming undertaking tho...

Good advice, Poppe. I will try the cream again today and then email him.. See what he says. It would be encouraging if they gave really good after care wouldn't it?

Your gel must be arriving soon now. I do hope it goes well. Please only test on a patch area for the first few days, we hear so many warnings here about potential rebound flushes. On a positive note, they are saying that oxymetalzoline starts up and it wears off more slowly, so let's hope there won't be any rebound.

When you guys had this shipped to the UK, did you pay import/Customs duty ? How much did it cost for the cream in total.
