Question Sometimes my face just feels safe/not on blushing/flushing edge! How so?

I am more like a type 1 person, no P&Ps. I blush/flush from all the usual triggers, except for sun (I still don't hang out in it though). Sometimes my face will have an obvious trigger (someone said a pervy joke lol, I had a too warm soup), sometimes it is very pink/reddish without any apparent triggers at all (these times SUCK)
...but the absolute coolest thing is when my skin just calms the F down (again, I just can't pinpoint a trigger for this! Diet, water, sleep, emotions, exercise, nothing!) and I just feel.. like it will be fine. Face feels normal, no warmth, no tingling, I KNOW that I look alright and am not ashamed of looking people in the eye. I have a bit rosy butterfly area but it just looks acceptable and fine and even kinda cute!

I must add, the calmness doesn't arise from being relaxed/happy. In fact, I become happier after it kicks in because I just feel so much better! It's rather annoying when people just put it down to stress/emotions. I'm not consciously doing this, something in my body just klicks and tada! Or on the contrary... I can be having the best time with people I trust, I am happy but then.. oh no, heat in my cheeks. Surely, soon my good mood is ruined.

Is this just a thing that my clingy autonomic nervous system does for fun? Could I try any supplements out there to make this calmness last? Anyone else ever feels this way?

I know exactly how you feel. My moods are completely reliant on how my face looks on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis. I think it might help to start a journal - something to keep track of what you did, what you ate, etc...Note how your face feels after each activity. Everyone has different triggers, figuring out what they are is frustrating (especially if it's something you like!), but it helps to know.
