    So I have the rosacea where i flush from stress, (poor breathing), body heat, external heat.....

    I have permiant redness and flushing of my nose, cheecks


    what should my derm prescribe?

    I also have acne but its not rosacea related....

    I am assuming you didn't read this thread since you started your own. Did you independently discover this how? Did your physician recommend this? Thanks for posting.

    So just to be clear, topical amitriptyline and ketamine are topical pain killers used for neuropathic pain. This is not strictly for erythema, but erythromelalgia - a different condition.

    This is definitely a drug that you should only use under the supervision of a doctor with experience in these sorts of topicals.

    I have neurogenic rosacea! It's probably the same you have!!
    Does it still work for you? How often a day must you use it? Does it have side affects?

    I tried and contact my doctor but she says it's not available in Holland..... Really? Only in the UK? Does the cream have a certain brand name?
