On a post-Accutane forum someone posted a link to this blog: https://ggenereuxblog.wordpress.com/...use-of-eczema/
It is a guy who has solved his eczema with a diet. His theory is that at some point people's dietary intake of vitamin A exceeds liver's storage capacity for it, so they are in a state of a subclinical toxicity of vitamin A. Then excess vitamin A is excreted through sebum in skin and provokes burning, inflammation and skin peeling because of resulting too much of growth hormones. These symptoms remind me rosacea and seb derm. The sources for too much vitamin A can be, according to this author, fish oils, like cod liver oil, vitamin A supplementation, regular consumption of cold water fish or other foods, accutane use: synthetic vitamin A. I find this theory very interesting .
