If you see no result from the first non bruise treatment, can you ask to bruise for the others ? I think it will a good choice and limit your lost money.

I think there has been an improvement but not as drastic as I'd hoped.

I think the improvement has also been down to using lemongrass soap/cetaphil for cleansing and back on Aveeno colloidal oatmeal moisturiser to calm down the redness.

I will speak to her next week about adjusting it. Obviously the first treatment is going to be very careful to see how the skin reacts.

This is how my skin is after one week. Yes I know it's only mild redness but I still want it removed. I havnt been working in a cleanroom suit since and will post one that will look totally different after a 12hr shift with a mask and hood on all day destroying my face!

I think my background redness did get lighter as I can now see a bucket load of melasma or else it was just the first scorching day this year showing it off. Might need to zap that away with IPL after.

Anyway I'm told the laser is in trouble and it'll be a while before my next appointment. Great fun.

    Thank you for update Randy

We can't see the redness with this kind of photo. Try to take a photo with a flash and maybe closer.

Take a photo in natural lighting, without flash.

Images in room's conditions, worse with flash are not good evidence of redness.

I've had two pulse dye treatments so far and I've noticed only minimal improvements. I'm having my third one this week but purpuric looks the only way

It looks more clear. But yea you will see significant improvements with purpuric mode.
My mother had same kind of redness as you ( background redness) she did vbeam purpuric and some redness completly disappear and she's has now only pinkness on nose and cheeks. But she need to do recurrent treatment.

Thank you for the updates ;)

That was a bad redness day too Opti. You know yourself! I'll keep you posted though. But yes I think Purpuric is the way to go if you can find holidays for the downtime. I've read stories of taking up to 4 weeks for the skin to heal.

I had dermapen done before so I'm not afraid to bruise in the slightest. And that's a much more invasive procedure.
