guys, anyway, reducing the flushing/blushing episodes can be a good thing also for the general redness (that should be caused by too many capillaries)

If you reduce the over activity of the skin, you reduce the infrastructure required to maintain it. Less
nutrients will be needed for supply, so less blood vessels are needed to get them there. Just as the
body has a system to increase blood vessels and nerves in your skin to correlate with their activity, the
body also has a system to reduce blood vessels and nerves in your skin when they are less active. The
body uses growth factor regulation as one method of achieving this balance. This is why reducing
flushing and skin irritation is so important.

Not sure what the difference in root versus root extract in effectiveness. Anyone know?

The Planetary Herbals has 500 mg of powdered root plus 70 mg of the root extract. The Protandim that I took before contains 150 mg of the root.

It would do your head in all right because there are so many brands on Amazon and all have different amounts of the root extract.

I'd need to look properly at the literature of both products but technically I think that if its just root its just the root literally ground down to powder whereas the extract would be more desirable because its the extract of the desired active ingredient.

One of the worst trigger is the warm room thing, so if it improves also that it's great

I'm evaluating what to order but I'll try Ashwagandha for sure.

Ideally I would like to try this combo:

    Ashwagandha,
    Turmeric (Curcumin) + quercetin,
    resveratrol + pterostilbene

I would like to find something against our main problem, the keratin disorders we have. It's genetic but I've also read that can be caused by Vitamin A deficiency..

Another thing I'm evaluating is Pepcid Complete, that should prevent alcohol flush if taken 40 minutes before a drinking any alcohol. Side effect is that it can slow the breakdown of ethanol, and this can be very dangerous..
