Default Rhinophyma caused by not washing your face or simply having very oily skin?

    Hello,

I stumbled upon this site while reading up about rhinophyma. It states that poor hygiene (not washing your face) can lead to rhinophyma? Is that true? Even for non-rosacea sufferers?

As for excessive oily skin on the nose - can that also lead to rhinophyma, even with the absence of rosacea?

That's bull**** and unrealistic. The part about homeless men is ridiculous.
