Xylitol is a sugar substitute. I buy it at Holland and Barrett's for a few pounds. I haven't a clue what the consistency should be so I just guess by putting a teaspoon of Xylitol in a glass and adding a little bottled water. You can apply it with cotton wool. Easy peasy.
    sally hello,

are yout still using the xylitol?
and do you still have those dead thin layers of biofilm? dead skin?
    thnx

Since I started I can honestly say my SD has been under control for 99.9% of the time. I just wish the derms had known about this treatment method instead of giving me steroid creams which have damaged my skin and possibly caused my Rosacea.
    hey Gary,

    How are ya?

Just would like to infom if you still clean just with honey and water? I did this myself as well for a while but got the impression that
this just dried out my skin..
do you apply any moisturizer now
    or any washing foam?
    And do you use xylitol?

    thanks so much !
