    Default Nizoral shampoo

Is anybody else having trouble finding Nizoral shampoo ? I have been buying this for years for Seb Derm………..it’s a great shampoo and facial wash. Walgreens and CVS are completely out. The young teenage sales associate told me it was so popular that they cannot get any more from the manufacture. I saw it on Amazon and eBay for around $70 dollars…………….about 5 times what I use to pay.

Wow! That's just wild. I have never used it, but looked it up after seeing your post. Wouldn't you know that something effective would be suddenly less available. Some scoundrel somewhere is planing on making a profit in some way from this. Just crazy.

The active component of Nizoral is ketoconazole. Products formulated with this material are marketed in various countries under the names Extina, Xolegel, Kuric and possibly others.

In the UK 2% ketoconazole shampoo is available as a generic product from Boots and possibly other pharmacies - I've not researched this.

I note that Ebay (UK) is selling Nizoral s/poo from numerous overseas suppliers at a reasonable price. Depending on where you are located, it may be possible to buy from them. I noticed also the US sellers are asking the extortionate prices referred to in the first post.

Hey look, you have 1,111 posts!

What business, anywhere on the planet, can afford the luxury of making their product unavailable while they up grade their factory for that long? I smell a rat in this man.. wann'a bet they change the ingredients after this?

    LOL Yes, I'm that jaded.
