    Default grapeseed extract during ipl

    hi everyone
ive been having ipl with dr crouch, just had my 3rd treatment a couple of weeks ago and scheduled for my fourth in 3 weeks time. ive just started taking grapeseed extract to hopefully strengthen the new vessels that will form but unsure about the time before and after ipl that this should be avoided...is ten days either side ok do you think? also it contains citus bioflavinoids, didnt realise when i bought it, does this matter?
    thanks!

Always act on the advice of your specialist (Dr Crouch) in matters like this. It is he that is doing the treatment and who should know how best to help it succeed.

I think generally you should stop taking it 3 days prior to your procedure and then wait for 7 days, maybe longer before you start taking it again. Same with Omega-3 supplements, Vitamin C, aspirin.

Toleraine Soothing Light Facial Fluid for moisturizer. I don't use a special cleanser. Clonidine daily; klonopin sometimes.
BEST and CURRENT TREATMENT I use: Low-Level Red Light Therapy LED array.
Please feel free to PM me with your low-level red light therapy (LLRLT) questions. I'm happy to help if I can.

thanks for the reply david. i'll make sure i lay off it a few days beforehand when my next treatment comes around. do you think that zinc, milk thistle and a probiotic need to be discontinued too or just those that affect the blood and/or vessels?

I don't think milk thistle inhibits normal coagulation while you're healing. Probiotics for sure won't. Zinc might...I'd google that. It might promote wound healing topically, but might inhibit coagulation if taken internally.

Oh--and don't take B vitamins, if I remember correctly. Same as C and Grapseed and Omega 3. Check my memory on that, though. It may not be right. Some of these b-complex supplements have multiple things that are bad, some just one--but you don't want to take it if it has a negative effect on healing.

Yeah--check these on Google. I'm on 4 hours of sleep. Brain needs downtime.

    Good luck.
