    Default Sick of rosacea!

    Hello:
Even though I control my rosacea fairly well with diet and lifestyle changes, it gets tiring. Today my face is very puffy because the allergen counts are "extremely high" in my area. I just wonder what it would be like to have a face that doesn't radically change in appearance from day to day. Argggg!
    Just needed to vent....

Oh, I am sorry to hear that.

I know, my rosacea is hormonally-driven so I have no control over it's behaviour most of the time!!!!

    I totally agree, tiring............VERY!

I am sick of it too, but we are a tough bunch and troop on through it.

I've been getting bad flushes at work because everyone insists on having the heating blazing all day long grrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, another grump here! I am tired of rosacea as well. It affects my life in so many, sometimes profound, ways, I am sick of it.
But there are good and bad days for me usually, I try to count my blessings and not what I am missing out on (which is quite frankly a lot!)
and just muddle on. Trying things here and there to improve it further. It is almost like an autonomous entity, this rosacea, that has to be
nurtured and pampered and looked after, and every day it's a suprise again how it will behave. very annoying.
Uses: 22,5 mg mirtazapine, clonidine and propranolol, Xyzal at times.
Diet: trying low sugar, no gluten and dairy, high protein diet.

    to you too Nat,

It really is such a crazy disease, when you have a respite you 'almost' forget it and then when it's back it's as if it's never been gone!

I have never wished for the menopause so much!!!

Yeah, so true Judy, when it is calm I tend to take it for granted with time, but when it is bad again, it feels like it always has been that way and the whole world turns dark and gloomy again.

    Hello G,

I am perimenopausal & 'should' be well into the menopause by now, it wasn't a flippant comment, I was asking for my 'natural' cycle to make up it's mind so

that this poor face could have a rest.
