Default Why is the forum dead?

Just wondering, there is hardly any activity.

I think that it just goes that way sometimes. Hopefully there are enough threads on here that people can look through and get answers to their questions. I'm sure that things will pick up in the future

My guess is that social networks are taking up more of the traffic along with YouTube and other internet activities with rosacea. All the forum formats and yahoo groups are down in posts. I have been following this for some time now and have data to back it up. Maybe the moderator is right and it will pick up again, but my suspician is that this type of format is not popular any more. It is not as user friendly as the social networks.

It's a shame, the community here is amazing during up time

I'm not a fan of social networking when it comes to specialist content

    Oddly, I don't find social networks user-friendly.

Id never use a social network to discuss my rosacea. I prefer being able to discuss my problems/feelings without being judged by others that dont understand.

I come and go on this forum tbh, but due to the content of the site I think that's the best way to be. Going away and trying new things is slightly healthier than sitting obsessing about your skin condition all day.

Although I do think about my rosacea far too much everyday, I wish I didn't.

dont use social networks, cant see how they would be more informative than this site. Aside from that it would be interesting to know if any users of social networks have found them helpful and how? One negative (well potential downside if you can call it that) of this forum for me is that I can use it to much and therefore think even more about my rosacea.

What a bunch of cuties. The interaction is amazing -- if you catch them when they're not sleeping, yeah.

I've noticed this too recently. Activity seems to have declined markedly even in the short period I've been active here.

Real shame as I've found this particular site absolutely invaluable in my struggle against what has been a truly life-changing, life restricting condition.
