    Default starting another med.

    I am supposed to try sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur lotion today...if anyone here can tell me..my nose and sides of nose and forhead are so dry...should I chance putting it on.

    I use sufacetamide/sulfur lotion, once daily just before going to sleep. It is drying but I find over time my skin got more comfortable with it and it became less drying. I apply it about 15 minutes after washing and putting on a bit of cerave moisturizer. What brand are you using?

    Yes, sufacetamide/sulfur topicals are often prescribed for P&P's.

    I used Clevia for about 3 months. It traditionally is used early in treatment for 2-4 months. I felt it
    lost its effectiveness after about 90 days or so (this is also what clinical studies have shown).

    I used it in combination with Finacea.


    Give it a try, but understand that it will most likely lose its effectiveness after a few months.

    Go with 'spot' treatment versus 'total coverage' ....apply 1x pm only.

    Default exfoliatate

    Another question..I have read exfoliate and do not exfoliate...so again...what are we to do..thanks for any help. this is so much to learn for my old age to take in.
