Best way to get an appointment with Prof. Tony CHU

Ok so he costs the same as an appointment to see Dr Crouch...so basically Dr Chu is a private doctor? Does he perform laser solutions? Sorry if I sound silly but I've never had to know what the differences are between private and NHS until I was afflicted with this awful condition...I just need to see an expert who wont just dismiss it as something to 'get used to' as my doctor put it. Im literally so depressed about my worsening redness on my face its making me ill and physically exhasted...

Whats the difference between seeing Dr Crouch and Dr Chu?

As far as I understood, Dct Crouch is giving lazer treatment only (no medication) and is excellent in his own field whereas Dct CHU gives medication (and you can also get lazer treatment in his clinic).
From all I've read on this forum, they are both specialised and excellent with treating rosacea.

Great to hear you had your appointment with Prof Chu.

If I can bother you with some questions... does Prof Chu run blood tests and investigate his patients for any underlying illnesses. E.g. does he have knowledge about the connection of Rosace and gastrointestinal problems?
How long did the appointment take?

No bother; I am afraid I can only draw on my own experience ( I have a history of

hyperthyroidism) and made sure I had recent blood test results, so he knew that wasn't

contributing to my roacea.

I also typed out a history of when my rosacea stared, what treatments I had tried &

also their effectiveness.

I don't know how much knowledge he has about other connected disease, however he

is a specialist in the rosacea field & given all the lack of knowledge by other in our

medical profession that will do for me!

Just wish I'd seen him sooner really!

It took 3 months from booking to attend my appointment & I was in there about 15 mins.
