    Default Topical Ivermectin Trial?

    Hey guys,

Wondering whatever happened to that topical ivermectin trial some forum members were on? I remember hearing good results. I'm scared to try that animal syringe topical stuff as i have extremely sensitive skin and seeing as it isnt made for humans, i forsee a huge flare-up.

HI Snuffelupagus, I was on the trial over 2 years ago with brilliant result. The trial stopped ubruptly and the derm I was seeing kept on promising that it would start again in the new year. It never did. I contacted Galderma who conducted the inital trial directly and they weren't very helpful. My skin was really good up to a year after finishing the trial.

I too have extreemly sensitive skin and have been using the injectible ivermectin directly on my face. I am still getting some papules but the redness has all but gone again and I am rarely getting any burning and or flushing.

That's so weird if they were having such good results with the trial!!
Could you possibly give me the name/contact info? I'd love to try myself and see what they say!

Also where are you guys getting the injectible version from?

Here is a write up of the trial.

This is the contact form that I used to write to them.

And here is the Ivermectin I have been using,

I have to add that I have also been using Paraderm plus on my face nightly which has made it incredibly soft. I only have the odd papule and no redness or flushing. Paraderm plus has recently been discontinued (just my luck) but replaced with a chemist owns brand. It contains Chlorhexidine gluconate 1mg/g, Lignocaine hydrochloride 10mg/g, Bufexamac 50mg/g. I am yet to use this to see if it does the same job though.

It has a numbing effect on the skin which was why I originally started to use it because the itch would drive me mad. It also has a non steriodal anti inflammatory. Not sure if it anaethatises the mites or what but I am not complaining.

    Good luck.

several people here have tried it and no one's reported that it had any notable effects.
if you use the search gizmo to locate the threads on ivermectin and/or demodex you can read about their experiences with it.

    Rachzon,

Do you just apply some Ivomec daily to your skin, simple as that?

I'd like to try, if I knew what to do.

    thanks!

Ghost, here's the main thread where the people who are trying Ivomec on their skin hang out:
    http://www.rosaceagroup.org/The_Rosa...ghlight=ivomec
there are some variations in people's techniques for applying it, and how often, but the basics are:
wet a cotton pad with it, and use it on your skin
