Default Best doctors and dermatologists in Europe

    Hi,

can you please give me the names of the doctors and derm's you have had good experiences with in Europe, preferebly in Scandinavia, Italy or London? I'm willing to travel to see one.

Who has a good reputation and is considered experts on rosacea?

If some of you are in my situation that you live far away from your doc/derm, does it work to treat rosacea with the distance? How often do you see them?
Can you also contact them by e-mail during the treatments?

Hope to have your answers soon!

Dr.Langeland in Oslo should be able to help you.

You can also ask him questions on www.doktoronline.no

Professor Ternowitz at Colloseumklinikken in Stavanger also have long experience with rosacea treatments.

I would try them before you spend a fortune on doctors abroad. My impression is that they both make sure to keep themself updated with the latest news.
Personally I prefer Dr.Langeland because he use Vbeam perfecta laser, while Ternowitz use IPL (at least he did).

    Hi,

    thx for your answer!
I don't need a doctor for doing the laser treatments. I need one for helping me in other ways due to my bad experiences with laser.
    Who do you sugest then?
What is the differece with those two laser-treatments?

I guess that seeing a doctor in another country might be difficult, but I have a feeling that I'll need to and if that's the best I'll go for it.

Personally I would still choose Dr. Langeland. Both these dermatologists will give you a non-laser treatment, if that is what you want. Professor Ternowitz have worked in different european countries, but I doubt they do things differently in Sweden or UK.
I am really no expert on laser, so I hope someone else can explain you the difference between Vbeam and IPL.

It might be a good idea to write Dr.Langeland on doktoronline.no, describe your symptoms, and previous treatments, and hear what he recommend you to do. Or where to go.
