    Hay shantelle

Today was very bad day. My cheeks look bright red and
it is very dry and sensitive. Maybe it is still to early, i know i know
but i still maybe thinking The setting was to high this time.

I still don"t get it why my cheeks won"t fade down. 9 th week now
but i can"t believe this treatment has works. Normally i am quik healer.

I Hope The best and that The vbeam did not make it more worse.

    Hellow Shantelle,

When I am outside and become with people or in a shop or something, I get faster a flusher then before. Is this also normal in the 9 week after treatment?

Is the skin very sensitive to that kind of flushes?

    Hi Statham

It is hard to say whether you are still healing or not because you had the purpuric vbeam laser for your Rosacea, but I had the non-purpuric treatment which was rather gentle in my experience. Purpuric treatment is an aggressive treatment and tends to heal far more slowely than non-purpuric treatment. I would still give it more time as purpuric treatment results may take months to show (which means alot of sensitivity during the healing phase); but definetly seek the Derm's advice if you are concerned.

I wanted to say I think you'll find great success with this. I've had several treatments over the years with Gemini laser. The first few I didn't use a topical anesthetic which was pretty uncomfortable around the nose, like you described. It's been the laser of choice for me for redness and works well. Most recently, I'm using laser genesis and it's a lot less painful. That said, the results are slower to come. Good luck with it, I think it'll be great!

Just thought i'd update. I asked my sister and mum for their opinion last night on how much they think the (first) vbeam has helped my skin overall. There responses suprised me. Mum said she thought about 70% improvement, and my sister said 90% improvement. I guess it goes to show how much vbeam can assist Rosacea Type 1 symptoms...

    Hi Shantelle,

Glad to hear it's helped you! Any chance you have and can post before and after pictures?

    Hi Shrimpy

There are some pics under my profile now, showing differences prior and post first non-purpuric vbeam treatment. My Avatar pic (which appears with my forum posts) is the real reminder of what I was like in early-mid 2010 post Accutane/prior to Plaquenil. I keep it as my Avatar picture as a reminder of how far I have come I suppose.

My second non-purpuric vbeam treatment is next Thurs so i'm counting down. Probably just need the second treatment and then maintenance treatments from then on.

    Hey shantelle

Are 9 weeks still to Soon to see improvements.? My skin is not
healing anymore as it looks now. The redness is still not
fading down and i am very sensitive to flush The last weeks.
Normally i am fast healer so it is diffucult to see not any improvement
This Time. Not single day THE redness wil fade to how it was, so
i think THE vbeam laser has brought me more red upperfacial redness

Why why why is this treatment went so wrong.
