Question Question for Acnelamp users--is the single-head unit sufficient?

My head is spinning! I just read through all the stickies, and have decided to order a replacement "all-red" head for my Acnelamp (I currently have red and near-infrared, which has been in my closet for a few years; I don't quite remember why I went for the mixture!).

But before I do so, here is my question. I have the single-head version, and am a bit confused. The website says you need to aim it at each area for X minutes, meaning, I'd have to do each cheek separately, because that is where my rosacea is. But, I remember a member telling me years ago that pointing it at the middle of my face was sufficient--it would reach my entire face.

    Thoughts?

Turn it on when in the dark and if the lighted covers that area of the face that you want it to then hooray, but if it doesn't you'll need either, a larger single unit (britebok or similar); two smaller arrays which can be deployed at once; or the patience of a saint.

And remember that because the curvature of the head, you aren't going to be getting completely even treatment if it's just a flat surface where the lights are. Your nose would be getting the brunt of it and your outer cheeks would get the least amount of power. The farther away the light is from the unit the less powerful.

Thank you both for your replies! I meant to thank you earlier, but I was busy at work the last two days.
