Default Seb Derm: Treating it with raw honey

I'm in my mid 20's, and I have seb derm in my hair, face, chin, chest, arm pits and belly button.

Rating from 0-10, my condition of seb derm before the raw honey treatment (0 meaning no seb derm, 5 meaning a bit, and 10 meaning terrible breakout of seb derm)

    Hair: 5
    Face: 5
    Chest: 6
    Arm pits: 2
    Belly Button: 1
    Chin: 0.5

    Hair: 4
    Face: 4
    Chest: 5

My face did not yet receive an initial breakout(redness) like some people get when beginning the raw honey treatment.

it will, just wait a while!

Happens to everyone with seb derm who undergo honey. Otherwise it is not seb derm.

I encountered more massive ups and downs during the first two weeks if not third aswell.

My flair up lasted less then a day. I wore my honey mask Sunday before hockey, and after I took off the mask, my flair up was HUGE. But after hockey it went away.

But I know I have Seb Derm, as I saw a dermatologist last year and he prescribed me ketoconazole which WORKS amazing! But again, who wants to use creams for the rest of your life? I DON'T. This is why I'm doing the honey treatment this winter.

Previously I used ketoconazole, but only in the winter months. Summer I used nothing but face cleanser and some Nizoral shampoo for my hair. In the summer, I get a lot of sun so that keeps it totally gone.

    Default Honey Treatment #4

Minor flare up on my face for approx 4 hours before hockey. Went away after playing hockey though.

Redness around my hair is GONE. First time in a while... WOW!

    Hair: 4
    Face: 4
    Chest: 5
Arm pits: 0 (not applying honey to arm pits and it went away)
Belly Button: 0 (finally my belly button looks NORMAL!)
    Chin: 0
    Ears: 2 (added in ears)

This thread is basically my blog; looking in the past at OLD pictures of myself, I can tell I started to develop seb derm in my teens, although I never noticed it back then cuz of acne etc...

    Chest: 5
    Arm pits: 0

My ears do NOT flake at all anymore and they use too a lot. My chin appears to be worse now (which is good cuz that means its working).
