    Question Nose - redness

    Hello

I have some redness (acne-related, not rosacea) on both sides of my nose. Any idea what would help to remove, or at least, decrease the redness?

    Condition: Grade 1 acne.

    Past treatment: 3 x N-Lite laser (2009), 9 x Salicylic Acid 20% Resurfacers (2009/10).

    Hi Benji,

Are you using any meds/products on your face? Which ones?

You wear heavy eyeglasses. Does your nose get as red if/when you don't wear your eyeglasses for a while?

(BTW, did you try using only bottled water on chest and face? Did it help at all?)

    Cheers

I've treated seb derm successfully with raw honey and virgin coconut oil and have been symptom-free since June '09. Follow this ---> link <--- for details.

I use benzoyl peroxide on my face. It hasn't improved the redness on my nose. However, it has worked on other parts of my face. I wonder if the raw honey and virgin coconut oil is worth a go?

I've seen no difference either way.

If I use benzoyl peroxide on my face where seb derm is present, it will always flare up. Try not using this on your nose and see how you improve.
