Default Coconut Oil vs. Tea Trea Oil

To Auburn and anyone else who might know,

Wouldn't using Coconut oil lose its benefit after about two to four weeks? As it is a well known anti-fungal, wouldn't you need to cycle it out with perhaps Tea Tree Oil (another well-known anti-fungal)?

Otherwise couldn't your skin just become resistant to the Coconut Oil? I've read accounts of Tea tea oil losing its effect after a month or two, so I just figured...
-But I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

There are no enzymes in coconut oil so, yes, the fungus might become resistant.

I've treated seb derm successfully with raw honey and virgin coconut oil and have been symptom-free since June '09. Follow this ---> link <--- for details.

ti tree oil isn't a "substitute" for coconut oil, though (nor vice versa) -
ti tree oil is an essential oil - a highly concentrated, nonlipid product of distillation,
and it has to be diluted to 4% or 5% before you use it on your skin.
coconut oil is a lipid vegetable oil. two entirely different characters.
(you *could* use coconut oil as a carrier for ti tree, though - just make sure they're thoroughly blended.
and 4% - 5% really is enough ti tree oil. using more than that is just increasing the risk of developing a sensitization reaction.)
