May cause flushing - 'may' being the operative word, Alba. She could try taking ginkgo for a few days and see if it causes flushing. Make sure she gets gingko biloba standardized to contain 24 percent ginkgo flavone glycosides. The suggested dosage seems to be between 120 and 240 mg.

    However, keep in mind that:

Overall, the results of these trials are favourable to gingko biloba as a treatment for tinnitus, but a firm conclusion about its efficacy is not possible. At present, the body of evidence is small. More trials are needed to test the therapeutic value of gingko biloba for relieving tinnitus. Furthermore, it is important that such trials are methodologically rigorous and consistent in terms of the endpoints being measured, the doses used and the classification of patients. Dear Alba,
I just happened upon this thread and I am so sorry your daughter is dealing with this new problem

There is a non invasive music treatment you and your daughter may want to look into.

LOL thank you Missy you are wonderful!

Will look in to the links later today.

Have a great weekend, it's really hot here in Miami but for me hard to believe this time of the year is not so hard on my rosacea since everyone has the air conditioner running all the time! Actually when it gets cool its hard on my rosacea cuase when i go places they have the a/c off or very warm. So thankfully Im doing fine!
