Default Melbourne or Sydney doctors performing Vbeam

    Hi,

After numerous IPL and Gemini laser treatments I am now looking for a doctor who can perform (purpuric) PDL with the Vbeam Perfecta. Either Melbourne or Sydney doctors are fine. A few doctors have the Vbeam but I am unsure how many actually use it for treating Rosacea and how many are happy to do it at purpuric settings (where appropriate).

I have seen Dr. Bekhor but was not impressed so will not be returning. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Inner Sydney Dermatology use it, although I'm not sure at which setting.

Either Dr Hunt or Dr Lee will perform it; I've an appointment booked with Dr Hunt but not until early July which is a bit frustrating. The receptionist is quite helpful so you might want to call and check.

Thank you. I will get in touch for an appointment and see how I go.

I highly recommend Dr Richards at Westmead, Sydney. I have had 6 Vbeam sessions at his practice and 3 bruising ones. He seems to be pretty well versed in Rosacea treatment.

Dr Richards did the patch testing and always sets up the vbeam and marks out where to do it, but yes the nurse performs the procedure. I have even had the vbeam whilst on accutane with no ill effects. Unfortunately it is not always easy to determine the outcome I guess.
