    Default Thanks

Thanks Auburn.... you would not believe how much white film came off my face the other day since I have switched to doing the honey about twice a week. I see this as a good sign. A lot of things to consider but along with this factor and the factor of having two pimples on my nose recently I think this is a sign of good things. My skin is acting more normal. Pimples for oily skin is normal. And yes, I never thought I would be satisfied with pimples on my face. A pimple or two every week I can take, what I was tired of was this feeling that the redness was expanding and that the skin was revolting.

Cutting back on the honey applications is still a necessary step at this point though because I don't want to take any chances of overdoing it. I am also in about 15 days of taking 50mg of Doxy once daily.

    Honey for the outside.
    Doxy for the inside.

I've taken doxy for past 2 months and recently stop since I found out Manuka honey is doing a better job.
All the seb derm are gone completely after 20 applications of honey.

Now I am ready for the IPL treatment to reduce facial redness. I heard that I'll be sore and swelling for the next 3 days.

Has anyone tried IPL for Rosacea?

My skin has been worse than ever for a long time now, so for about 30 minutes ago I said "**** it" and splashed a lot of Manuka (UMF 20+ MGO 400) onto my whole face. There's a slight stingy feeling, maybe because the honey is so sticky, but my cheeks actually calmed down pretty quickly after applying the honey so this looks promising!

I will wait some hours before I wash it off...

How long did that big jar last you and did you buy it from the Manuka website, if so, how much was shipping?
