I had a vbeam done on my skin on dec. 3. Never did I flush until after the vbeam. I felt great the first two day. Then started to flush for the next four weeks everyday around 7 p.m... I suppose that is when the body temp is the greatest. called the doctor after the first week and explained my symptoms she sais this was not normal. So I did get freaked out. I also looked coppery around week three. The flushing went away after 6 weeks. I am three months out. My skin def. has weird dark spots kind of all over it. My derm did not stress the sun issue. I may have caused this by going out in the sun although it was in winter. Is this normal and will these weird brown things go away. It's almost like a torn look on top of my skin..Thank you mellisa for all of your posts.

As long as you see some improvement in the long run, the pain is worth suffering through. I've had 3 V-beam sessions so far, and while the side effects have been rather mild (increased redness and swelling), there has been no improvement whatsoever after they subsided. Very frustrating and depressing.

What settings have you used? What type of redness do you have?

I just completed my 4th treatment and have seen sustained progress after each treatment. Very slow progress, but definite progress. I had very dense redness in my face, it was not patchy at all and almost looked like a blanket of red over my cheek area. It's going down slowly now.
