Default Stubborn nose veins - let's hear success stories!

Okay, so some people get stubborn veins on and around their noses. It seems to me that there are several different treatments available. It's difficult to tell how efficacious they are relative to each other. So, let's discuss the following:

    1) KTP 532nm
    2) VBeam PDL
    3) Nd: YAG 1064
    4) Veinwave

Anyone had any of these for nose veins? Did it work? What was the cosmetic result and did you have to put up with much in the way of post-treatment bruising? Did you develop further veins and if so, how long after the treatment?

    hi heliotrope.

I used to have a patch of dilated blood vessels on my cheek due to a fall I had when I was younger. I also had one on the side of my nose. The thing that got rid of them for me was electrolysis.

I know this method seems quite outdated now what with all the new technology, but I have an excellent beatician (family friend) and she got rid of them completely in about 2-3 sessions.

I doubt this method would work for smaller vessels but for the larger ones it was excellent. A bit swollen and red for a few days but nothing major.

I don't know what the treatment was because I had it done years ago, but the derm used a laser at the end of a pen-like thing (which was attached by a flexible arm to a larger machine) around my nose. It hurt a bit and made my eyes water, but it took care of the veins, which never came back.

Sorry, I didn't even know I had rosacea at the time, so I wasn't paying attention to the treatment used. It was 1990 if that helps.
