    Default quantum ipl

    hi

i live in brisbane, australia and am going to get ipl.

there isnt any lumenis one here, but i have checked three that use

    1) quantum ipl
    2) angelite 2
    3) cutera

the quantum seems the best option.

Just wondering any feed back or advice.

    Thanks.

    bump.

actually i checked some of the forum and there is alot of negative feedback from quantum.

Just seeing if it was just from the one doctor? Or is there anyone out there that has had good experiences.

    Thanks.

My IPL treatments were with the Lumenis Quantum. (They were at Woodford Medical, aka Dr Patterson).

From snips and snaps I've picked up, it seems my experience was of a rather harsher treatment than with others. It may also be due to the protocol Dr Patterson uses.

I've not had treatments on other machines to compare with.

(Incidentally, I know you want your questions answered, but there are also lots of other people around with other concerns. 4 posts asking the same question, and constant bumps...well...).

yeh i checked out the rosacea.uk.co site and alot of the procedures were with dr.patterson at woodford

there were alot of mix reactions, i searched the term quantum

and half were good and half were bad.

just wanted to know if anybody had any experiences with it?

btw, i checked out another site http://www.affinityipl.com.au that uses Palomar Multilux IPL. Any experiences?

hi, iv had treatment with three different machines and the quantum was by far the worst, i would not have treatment with it if i was you, its got a bad reputation for being to powerfull and harsh on the skin.

    there are two other options:

    cutera machine - consultation soon

or palomar medilux - spot tested.

has anyone had any experiences with these two before?

i had a spot test as well with another machine last week called the angelite 2 but i never really heard about it. but it didnt really make a difference on my skin.
