Default Anyone been treated by Dr Natasha Cook in Sydney?

I have telangiectasia rosacea and recently had a consultation with Dr Natasha Cook in Sydney who swears by the BPL machine. She said she could easily fix my problem in 4-6 sessions, but didn't have any before and after shots, so how do I know if she's good? So wondering if anyone has been treated by her, or would recommend another dermatologist in Sydney, or has any experience with BPL.

    Hi,

I have never heard of the doctor you mentioned, so I can't comment. Doesn't mean she isn't good though.
Recently, I have renewed my quest of an experienced Lumenis One practitioner and called the distributor to find out who they recommended. They suggested the Shire Cosmetic clinic in Miranda, adding they had at least 7 years experience with IPL.

I have no clue what their knowledge of rosacea is, nor what experience they have, but they might be worth looking into.

I have yet to make personal enquiries. If I find out anything I will let you know. Meanwhile I would appreciate any information you can share.

This clinic is another option for you at least.
    Previous Numerous IPL.
Supplements: Niacinamide, Vit K2, low D3, Moderate Dose Vit C, Iodine, Taurine, Magnesium. Very low dose B's. Low dose zinc (to correct deficiency).
Skin Care: No Cleanser, ZZ cream mixed with Niacinamide gel 4% and LMW HA.

Treating for gut dysbiosis under specialist care. (This is helping).
Previous GAPS diet. Testing tolerance of resistant starch.
Fermented Foods. 2 to 3 days per week, Intermittent fasting -16-18 hours.

Just one word of caution, I would be wary of anyone who makes outrageous claims of easy and complete clearance with any machine. Excellent results can be achieved, but they aren't always easy to attain. Each patient is an individual and responses differently.

I agree. Be careful with anyone who says they can "easily fix your skin". That usually means they are clueless. The 3rd derm I went to told me I was wasting my money with IPL and that he could get rid of "99%" of my redness with 1 or 2 vbeams. I was thrilled to hear that. I had 4 vbeams with him and would have to say that his percentage was off by about 98%...

    good luck
    take care,

    John
