i asked that to my derm and she told me that it is because of stress. exercise is one of the best stress relievers.

Exercise is great. Luckily for me, I don't flush too much when I exercise. I flush more from anxiety and etc. I find that after exercising, the blood flow seems much more normal and my nose doesn't look as red. It also enhances my mood for the rest of the day and I don't worry about my rosacea as much.

I totally agree. My skin looks better after (and during) exercise as well as long as there is air circulating in the room I am working out in. I prefer outdoor in the nice weather but in NYC we only have a few months of nice weather total all year round.

I am moving this to our new diet and lifestyle forum as that encompasses this topic.

    Best wishes,
    Melissa

    Default better during exercise

yes, i definitely look better after exercise...i wonder if it has to do with the blood draining from the face to feed hungry muscles??

Maybe it has something to do with the depletion of the neuropeptide chemicals that they were writing about in the warm room flush article?
