    Default Amusing pet photos

This is my beloved papillon Caesar.
    A true kodak moment!

He has a food radar and it is always set on max!
Due to this 'asset, and the fact my mother wouldn't stop feeding him junk, he has had to attend 'weight watchers for porky pooches' on several occasions.

I am glad to report he is now in good health, sporting a trim waist line

Looks like he's dreaming of cookies, or just taking in the 'bouquet', like a proper gastronome.

    Great photos Melissa!

Your cats look very regal. Plato ( who died over one year ago) used to sit perched on a cushion like that. Looking very princely.

I simply love animals too. I've had cats, mice, birds but it will always be my boys (dogs) who have really stolen my heart.

Did you ever consider becoming a Vet or entering into any other animal related field?

Oh yes, indeed! Caesar is a true connoisseur of good food.
If you were to ofter him small slices of a variety of cheeses, he would always pick the most reknowned and ( most expensive) one.

He also has selective hearing. He might not hear you when in the same room, but he can hear the rattle of a food wrapper from the end of the garden!

Jenny, those cookies look delicious. After seeing that photo I had a sudden craving for some

As for the vet suggestion thanks but my sister is a veterinarian and she has the better temperment for it. I would be crying every day over the sick and dying animals. Unfortunately when you have pets you are all too familiar with that.

Thanks for starting this thread. I hope others will post their pet photos

    Melissa,

Your reasons for not entering into any Vet related field reflect mine.
I simply couldn't handle the death, sick and injury side.

I toyed with marine biology at one stage, as I really liked the idea of working with dolphins. Marine biology involves a lot more than that though and what with my development of melasma and rosacea, a career in the sun was out of the question.

I wouldn't mind owning a large home for abandoned animals, but I'd have to have a large win in the lotto first!

Having a sister who is a Vet must be handy!

There's a place we love that is home to abandoned animals. It is a huge farm with plenty of room and care for them to live quality lives. It is called the Peace Plantation. That sounds like the type of place you would love to run Jenny

It really is beautiful there and they give the animals a good home.
