Default Nose swelling, inflammation, throbbing and redness

does anybody else suffer from nose swelling, inflammation, throbbing and redness on a daily basis? rosacea effects other areas such as my cheeks and chin but it is my nose that is the most painful and distracting. so much heat comes from it when under a flare up. i dont see much about this no the internet. could there be any other condition causing this to happen? i dont have allergies and i breathe normal. my nose tends to flare under any slight raise in temperature, when stressed or after eating certain foods. its just my nose!!! ouch, why?

Yes - although I personally don't think it's rosacea - probably some sort of auto-immune IMO. Do you have the typical butterfly redness or visible blood vessels?

My nose can behave like that as well when a flare is triggered. So it very well may be rosacea if you do have rosacea also on your cheeks and chin. When my nose reacts it is very painful as well.

Have you seen a doctor for an evaluation of all your symptoms and signs?
That is the only way to get a definitive diagnosis.

    Best wishes,
    Melissa

I also have the nose rosacea.
I get a flare-up every time i eat processed popcorn.
My doctor put me on metroGel which works good but it is not a cure.

I am can say for certain now, that the combination supplement that Queta recommended,
Quercetin and Bromelain has reduced my nose inflammation, swelling and thus it has reduced my flushing. I can still flush like crazy, which of course just increases symptoms all over again, but over all, at a resting state ( if there is a such a thing in rosacea), I have achieved improvements. In general, it takes more to flush now.
It has reduced the swelling inside too, which I know as I can breath easier.

My over all skin temperature has reduced, so it isn't burning all the time.
Some of the time, yes, but the reduction of inflammation has lessened the burning and throbbing.

Also, I can lay down without my nose seeing this as a signal to heat up, engorge and drive me insane.

Each time I post about this, I fear I have jinxed my improvement and it will all come crashing down. After all, rarely do supplements help much.
