Default Looking for reviews of either of these 2 products

    Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with:

    1. Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion
    2. DermaBlend Smooth Indulgence redness concealer.

I did not see any ingredients that I know are 'red alert' irritants.

I am a little hesitant to try Eucerin after trying the Eucerin redness relief system (the night cream has myristyl myristate, a known skin irritant). My skin actually got better stopping that system. However their regular calming cream lotion works wonderfully on my dry skin (body), so I'm willing to try another of their products.

My current moisturizer (DML) works well, but has no SPF.

I would appreciate any feedback on either of these two products. I also would welcome any suggestions for SPF's or places where I can find out more about ingredients to watch out for with rosacean skin.

    Thanks

    Mutant-
Like the name by the way.
Hate to see you go without an answer. I wish I could help you more but I've not tried either.
My only response would be that generally, I shy away from Eucerin products as many of them (I don't know about the one you mention in particular) are not non-comedogenic. The last thing I need is something that contributes to acne. My oily skin can handle that on it's own.
So, wish I could be more help. Give it a little time and maybe someone will happen across your post and have utilized them.
With regard to SPF- clearly, higher is better.
    Yours,
    Rob

    Hi mutantfrog,

I use the Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion and it works pretty well for me. Lots of other Eucerin products also made me break out, but this one doesn't. So far it's really about the only sunscreen my face will tolerate. It's especially good in the winter on dry skin. It isn't waterproof though, so it will run if your face gets wet. It has a slight whitish tint to it but it isn't heavy and greasy and rubs in pretty well. You have to be careful rubbing it in because if you apply too much it will appear kind of whitish.

    boyandhisdog--

    Thanks for the compliment
I too have had issues with Eucerin products before, as well as other products claiming to be 'non comedogenic". Thus why I wanted to ask around before putting it on if possible. That really annoys me--I've found a few products with KNOWN skin irritants/acne causing ingredients in 'hypo allergenic, non comedogenic' products. That pisses me off to no end.

    bealjanier--

Thanks for the input. I will try the eucerin product on one side of my face for a few days and see if it causes any flare up.

    Thanks
